Thursday 23 April 2026 sees NTU's yearly student drumming showdown back at University Hall in Nottingham, starting at 6.30 pm and wrapping up by 7.30 pm. Its free to wander in, so if youre nearby, you can catch a bunch of talented students banging away on various percussion setups from 18:30 to 19:30.

These budding drummers will be laying down diverse beats in front of a live crowd, each hoping to rattle up enough cheers to snag the top prize. Its a casual rhythm fest highlighting student talent, nothing too polished, just good honest thumping for anyone who fancies a earful of percussion chaos.
