13-piece world jazz band inspired by spiritual jazz, Afrofuturism, ancient music, Latin American styles, funk, Indian and Japanese music, and global culture. The band espouses inclusivity, peace, love and humanity.

Their performances include theatrical outfits, psychedelic lighting and dance to augment the music, along with spoken word and lyrical narratives of inclusivity, spiritualism, love and humanity.

The name comes from two origins: 'Ka' is the ancient Egyptian God of 'the vital spark of the spirit' and 'Safar' is Arabic for 'journey'. = spirit journey.
