On Thursday 25 June 2026, from half ten in the morning until three in the afternoon, Hart's Hotel & Kitchen is hosting a City Walk with Richard Brackenbury. It'll set you back £55 per person, which sounds a bit steep until you remember it includes a tea or coffee and a pastry when you arrive, then a proper two-course lunch at Hart's Kitchen afterwards. So really you're just paying for the food and drink and the walk comes free, or something like that.

The idea is that Richard takes you round Nottingham, pointing out the history, the hidden corners, and the bits you've probably walked past a hundred times without noticing. It's a guided heritage walk, but delivered in a relaxed, chatty way rather than a lecture. If you fancy a day out that involves a bit of gentle exercise, some storytelling, and a good lunch without any hard sell, this might be your thing.
