Monday 2 March 2026 at 7:30pm, Matt Parker brings his maths stand-up show to Nottingham Playhouse. Tickets are 27.50. Expect him to dive headfirst into numbers, like when he coded his Christmas tree lights only for the internet to fix it better, or that time 11 million people watched him unravel. Hes the bloke behind the New York Times bestseller Love Triangle, a top UK maths author, and a video maker who once held records for Rubiks Cube and Space Invaders.

Hes done daft things in maths name too: flipped a coin 10,000 times, hit Antarctica, memorised pi to heaps of digits, and got stung by a bullet ant in the Amazon. Oh, and asteroid 314159 is now Mattparker, upping the odds hell accidentally wipe out Earth someday.
