Tuesday 2 June 2026, 1pm at Southwell Racecourse. Tickets from £15. It's a Tuesday afternoon of jump racing with a relaxed, dog friendly crowd rather than a formal dog show, so bring sensible shoes and patience for the occasional muddy paw. Expect plenty of racing action while your four legged companion inspects the scene, judges the outfits and probably ignores you at crucial moments.

Dogs are welcome in all outdoor areas. Indoor access is limited to the designated section at the far end of the grandstand hall, with hospitality areas and other indoor spaces remaining dog free. All dogs must be kept on leads at all times. There will be a range of canine competitions through the day including Prettiest Bitch, Handsome Hound, Fanciest Trick, Waggiest Tail, Best in Show and the cheeky Dog the Judge Wants to Take Home. Judges will also be on the lookout for the Best Turned Out Dog, rewarding glossy coats, stylish accessories and general star quality.
