Elaheh Raofi, artist in residence, will be running free at St Marys Church in the Lace Market this summer. Aimed at children and anyone still young at heart, the sessions explore a mix of crafts from weaving to origami to embroidery, drawing on Persian symbols and other influences from the Middle East. No previous skill needed, just a bit of curiosity and an openness to getting pleasantly crafty.

Workshops run on Tuesdays from 10.30am to 11.30am and Thursdays from 2.30pm to 3.30pm. In August the dates are Thursday 7, Tuesday 12, Thursday 14, Tuesday 19 and Thursday 21. All sessions are free and take place at St Marys Church, Lace Market, Nottingham.
