Bonington Vitrines number 28, titled Gestures, Someone's Doing Something, is a modest little show about the ways we move and mean things without saying them out loud. Expect objects, arrangements and whatever else counts as a "gesture" in a boxed gallery format, with a healthy dose of everyday awkwardness and theatrical pointing.

It opens on 26 September 2025 and runs until 13 December 2025, at the Bonington Gallery in Nottingham. Doors are open every day from 10:00 to 17:00 and admission is free, so you can stroll in at a civilised hour and go home still harbouring opinions about arm motions.
