Ever looked at a blank sheet of paper and wondered if your artistic talent was hiding behind a very large, opaque bush? The Beginner's Watercolour Class is on for those who fancy exploring the world of paint without needing to be the next Turner. This is for complete novices, or perhaps those who have dabbled before and want to properly get to grips with the basics. Our aim is simply to guide you through the initial steps in a friendly environment.

We will be navigating the mysteries of essential watercolour techniques, including how to make colours blend nicely rather than just merge into a muddy mess, and getting a handle on brushwork that actually does what you want it to. You might even end up creating something rather lovely, or at least something that does not immediately get mistaken for a Rorschach test. Just be sure to bring your usual basic watercolour materials with you. Further specifics will be shared once places are confirmed.
