On Wednesday 25 February 2026 at 7.30 pm, the NTU Brass Ensemble takes over University Hall in Nottingham for an hour of brass tunes, led by Stephen Rhodes. Its a ragtag bunch of students, alumni, staff, and local folk who know their way around a trumpet or tuba, serving up a lively set thats basically them blowing their own trumpets, and fair play to them.

The whole thing runs from 19:30 to 20:30, so if youre nearby, swing by for some proper brass action without the hard sell.
