This Russian weekend spectacular celebrates the 150th Anniversary of Rachmaninoff's birth. It starts on Saturday 11 March at 7.30pm with his popular 2nd Piano Concerto with flamboyant soloist Giulia Contaldo and Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra. The dramatic and colourful Symphony No 4 by Tchaikovsky completes the concert with a flourish.

The second concert on Sunday 12th March at 3pm includes Rachmaninoff's Paganini Variations, with Giulia Contaldo again, and excerpts from Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet ballet suites.
