If your sketches often look like politely flattened cut-outs, this session is for coaxing them into having a bit of depth and presence. It's a relaxed look at how shadow and tone can turn outlines into forms that sit convincingly in space rather than hunkering flat on the page.

A friendly tutor will guide the practical side of tonal drawing, explaining value, contrast and composition without making it feel like an exam. The workshop covers creating a full tonal range, building effective contrast and simplifying a composition so the finished image reads cleanly and with real dimensional weight.
