It’s no secret that Sherwood Forest is home to the legend of Robin Hood, but Nottingham is now home to the ultimate journey back through history to meet the man himself.

is Nottingham’s only visitor attraction that brings to life the legend of Robin Hood and will take parents and children on a fascinating, interactive journey back in time.

It’s a walk-through visitor attraction that tells the tales of Robin Hood and his friends and enemies, including Maid Marian, the Sheriff of Nottingham and Friar Tuck. It’s probably most suited to parents and school-aged kids who can appreciate the history surrounding the legend.

Adam Greenwood takes on the role of the infamous outlaw hero, and clearly has a passion for what he does. You’ll learn a lot about Robin Hood that you never knew from Hollywood films (or in my case, the early 90s TV show Maid Marian and Her Merry Men) including the Robin Hood Story and interesting facts about the man himself.

takes place in the shadows of Nottingham Castle and includes an audio-visual experience to tell the secrets of Sherwood Forest. Each room in the venue offers something different and a wonderful display of imagination dedicated to this legendary figure.

Friar Tuck will teach you the art of ale-brewing, and you can also have the opportunity to stand trial before the evil Sheriff of Nottingham!

Along with the walk through experience, also includes props and costumes from the 1980s TV series Robin of Sherwood.

This hidden gem is open seven days a week, 10am to 6pm and has an on-site medieval tavern plus a gift shop where you can buy a souvenier to remind you of this awesome experience.

Tickets are £9.95 for adults, £7.95 for children aged 3 to 15 years, seniors and students, and there are family passes available, starting from £28. You can also buy an annual pass.

is a one-of-a-kind historical experience that is great for a school holiday or weekend activity. You’ll learn a lot about this home-grown legend and will leave with a newfound appreciation for the tale of Robin Hood.
