is popping up at the Theatre Royal in Nottingham from Tuesday 28 April to Saturday 9 May 2026, with tickets ranging from 25 to 55 pounds. No show on Monday 4 May, so you can catch up on your sleep or whatever else queens do on bank holidays.

Henry VIII's six wives swap their historical woes for pop star swagger in this 80-minute romp through Tudor heartbreak, turning divorces, beheadings, and all the rest into a cheeky girl power anthem fest. It snagged a Tony for best score and costumes, a couple of Whatsonstage gongs for West End show of the year, and even a gold disc for the album. Divorced, beheaded, live, as they say, though hopefully with fewer axes this time around.
