Henry Normal will be at Nottingham Central Library on Wednesday 10 June 2026 at 8pm. It is free to attend but it is advisable to reserve a space. Expect a set of short, funny and quietly moving pieces about family, mental health and the small absurdities of everyday life, delivered with Henry's usual blend of sharp wit and gentle wisdom. There will be laughs, a few tender moments and the occasional line that makes you think you were listening to someone reading your diary.

He will be joined by local poet, comedian and sculptor Pete Ramskill, so there will be poetry and banter in roughly equal measure. The show will be BSL interpreted. Henry is back on his Nottingham library tour, with daytime stops on Tuesday 9 June at Strelley Road Library at 11am, Wollaton Library at 1.30pm and St Ann's Valley Library at 4pm, and at Hyson Green Library at 12.30pm on Wednesday 10 June.
