Victoria Centre's popular Glow Room is set to make a return this Christmas, with new interactive elements to celebrate the centre's 50th birthday. The free experience, taking place between 2 December and 2 January, will treat visitors to a visual light performance featuring over 30,000 hanging lights, accompanied by popular Christmas songs and interactive, projected images.

Paying homage to the creator of the Emett Clock, Roland Emett, and his love of butterflies, one wall of the Glow Room is set to be filled with interactive butterflies that change colour when touched. The room, situated on the upper mall, will focus on providing families with a sensory experience that invites shoppers to get into the festive spirit.
