On Tuesday 28 October 2025, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, head to the Performing Arts Studio in Nottingham for a printmaking session with Ruth Lewis-Jones called Curves in Nature. Its aimed at ages 11 to 18, with tickets at a straightforward 8 quid. You will be messing about with monoprint techniques to capture those sneaky curves you see everywhere in the wild, like twisty rivers, lumpy hills, fluffy clouds, and whatever odd shapes creatures throw at you. It kicks off with a wander through the Kate McGwire exhibition for some inspiration, then youre off the leash to chase your own quirky ideas on paper.

The whole thing wraps up in just two hours, so no danger of turning into a full blown artist overnight, but enough time to get your hands inky and have a laugh at natures wonky designs.
