So, if your calendar's looking a bit bare towards the end of July 2025, you might be interested to know about the Boho Festival. It's pitching up at The Millview Glamping and Camping site from Friday the 25th to Sunday the 27th, handily close to Nottingham. Apparently, it's an intimate little shindig for folks who fancy appreciating a decent sunset and maybe a spot of dancing in a magical woodland. Think bohemian vibes without having to actually live in a yurt all year round. It's even billed as family friendly, so you won't have to leave the ankle biters at home.

By day, expect some chilled out tunes from local musos, probably a mix of their own stuff and some covers you might actually recognise, plus a few eclectic DJs and the odd street performer. As the sun dips (which, rumour has it, is quite glorious there), the tempo picks up with covers bands and DJs cranking out everything from soul and funk to disco, pop, indie, and yes, even those 'guilty pleasure' tracks you pretend not to like. For the younger contingent, there's a whole smorgasbord of distractions: a football school, forestry school (presumably not for felling trees), a bouncy castle (always a winner), arts and crafts, face painting, a puppet theatre, and a kids' disco. You can grab a day ticket if you're just dipping your toe in, or go all in for the weekend and pitch a tent or glamp it up at their idyllic campsite. Might be worth a look if you're after a bit of a party under the trees.
