On Tuesday 17th September 2024, from 7 pm to 9.30 pm, Bridgford Library will host a night that'll leave a lasting impression with the Remi Harris Hot Club Trio. If you haven't heard of Remi yet, where have you been? Jamie Cullum has called him "an absolutely extraordinary musician," and trust us, he knows his stuff. This guy isn't just one of the UK's leading gypsy jazz guitarists; he's also a blues-rock sorcerer. Honestly, Remi's guitar skills are so impressive, it might just start telling better jokes than the rest of us.

Joining the musical mayhem are Tom Moore on double bass and Chris Nesbitt strumming away on rhythm guitar. Together, they're set to take you on a delightful journey through the realms of Gypsy Jazz and Blues. Prepare for a night filled with toe-tapping rhythms and melodies inspired by the likes of Django Reinhardt, Peter Green, Wes Montgomery, Jimi Hendrix, and Joe Pass. So, take a seat, soak in the atmosphere, and don't be surprised if the urge to dance in your chair creeps up on you. No judgment here; we all know the struggle.
