These guys practically invented Alt-country back in the eighties, a genre that somehow managed to be both country and rock while wearing a leather jacket. Think of them as the musical bridge connecting the Flying Burrito Brothers and modern legends like Wilco, The Black Crowes, and The Jayhawks.

They're back to dust off their classic indie LP, Native Sons, which was the indie darling of 1984, sitting pretty at the top of alternative radio charts in the US and impressively holding down the number two spot in the UK indie charts. This autumn, they're giving fans a special treat by playing the entire album in a series of concerts across the UK to mark its 40th anniversary.
