Monday 25 May 2026, 10am to 11am at the National Ice Centre, Nottingham. Under 5s go free, juniors aged 6 to 15 are £5 and adults 16 and over are £5. Arrive from 9.45am if you want to catch the 15 minute themed story time in the picnic area next to the skate hire; the skating session itself runs from 10am to 11am. On ice equipment for little ones is provided at no charge.

These are themed parent and toddler sessions aimed at introducing children aged 5 and under to skating. Dressing up to match the theme is encouraged but not compulsory, and the story time just before the session sets the scene. Expect giggles, wobbles and possibly an overenthusiastic penguin impression from someone in the family.
