On Sunday, June 15, 2025, from 7pm (with showtime kicking off at 8 and a little break in between for snacks), Peggy's Skylight in Nottingham is set to host an evening of pure musical magic with the Matt Ratcliffe Quartet, featuring the one and only Helen Gayle. They're diving deep into the lush catalogue of The Beatles, serving up jazz versions of those iconic tunes you love, hopefully without the need for a disclaimer about not being from Liverpool.

Matt, a piano maestro with a penchant for all things improvisational, has drawn inspiration from jazz giants like Thelonious Monk and the groovy vibes of world music. You might catch him in a wild rhythm or two, while Helen will grace the stage with her soulful singing, blending jazz, soul, and gospel like a musical smoothie you can't resist.
