A lovely informal and friendly bump to baby group (suitable for immobile babies). Good coffee, pastries and plenty of buggy space!

Libraries host a variety of lovely free term-time sessions, including singing and music-making sessions on a Monday at the following libraries:

  • Bulwell - 10.30-11am

  • Kimberley - 10-10.30am and Rock & Rollers for under 1s at 11am
  • Kirkby in Ashfield - 10.30-11am

  • Hucknall - 10-11am

    Surestart

    Ultimate Outdoors

    A great rainy day activity to have up your sleeve, Ultimate Outdoors has a free indoor soft play area within the store, as well as a café selling gorgeous food and free Wifi. Plus, as it's on the retail park, you can indulge in a bit of retail therapy for yourself – it's a win-win!

    Stonebridge City farm

    Ok, this is not just for Mondays, but it's free to the public every day of the week!

    This lovely farm has a number of animals big and small, gardens and polytunnels where they grow fruit and veg, a nature walk and amenities such as the café, shop and play area.
