On Friday, 25 April 2025 at 19.30, the Nottingham Arts Theatre will play host to Marcus Brigstocke and his latest show, "Vitruvian Mango." Now, you might be wondering, what on earth are men even good for these days? Machines can handle the heavy lifting, computers can sort out pretty much any problem, and let's face it, we can just leap over puddles without all the chivalrous cape-draping nonsense. So, what's our role in this brave new world?

Fear not, because our man Marcus, an award-winning chap himself, is set to unravel this age-old mystery in the most entertaining way imaginable. He's got a cheeky take on Da Vinci's "Vitruvian Man" and has replaced that ideal male form with a "Vitruvian Mango." Why, you ask? Well, it's sweeter, softer, seasonally available, and when it's ripe, it has that delightful aroma that makes you think of summer. So come along and see if Marcus can offer up some genuine insight, all while keeping things non-patriarchal and, well, a bit more fruity.
