On 17 December 2025, the final Library in Nottingham runs from 5pm to 7pm. Its the last of a weekly Wednesday series that started back on 12 November, all free to wander in. Expect a lineup of literary odds and ends from the V&A, British Museum, Bodleian Library and Literary Emporium, like paperweights, jigsaws, notecards, tote bags, mugs, enamel pin badges, bookmarks and whatever else catches your eye for those presents that dodge the usual socks and aftershave rut.

The Bromley House Knitters turn up too with their handmade toys, Christmas decorations, literary character knickknacks, and a pile of cosy gloves, scarves and hats to outwit the winter frostbite. If youre drawing a blank for the bookish type on your list, theyve got library gift memberships knocking about as well.
