There’s nothing like singing along to Christmas carols to get you in the festive spirit! Nottingham hosts a number of Christmas carol events in and around the city that are family friendly. Christmas Carols in the Millyard, Sneinton
Saturday, 16 December from 3pm to 5pm
Green’s Windmill and Science Centre, Windmill Lane, Sneinton, NG2 4QB

  • A free event for all ages!
  • Refreshment will be available for a small cost. Homemade mince pies and mulled wine also available.
  • Come and sing along with the Salvation Army and the Nottingham Ukulele Club.
  • There will also be a visit from Father Christmas!
  • Browse the market stalls for last minute Christmas gifts.



  • Family Carol Concert at the Royal Concert Hall
    Wednesday, 20 December and Saturday, 23 December

  • Tickets between £10 and £20, and a £2 fee applies for online bookings and £3 for phone and counter sale per transaction.
  • Come and sing along with the Nottingham Harmonic Choir and the Thoresby Colliery Band.

  • The University Festival of Lessons and Carols, Nottingham

  • Sing along with the University choirs, Viva Voce Chamber Choir and Revival Gospel Choir.

  • St Andrew’s Craft and Carols

  • Maggie’s Nottingham Carol Concert 2017
    Thursday, 7 December from 6:30pm

  • Tickets £10, with funds raised supporting the Maggie’s Centres.
  • Hosted by TV and radio presenter John Hess.
  • Sing along with the Southwell Choral Society.
