Tuesday 16 December 2025 at 8pm, Broadway Cinema in Nottingham is screening Tim Burtons second Batman flick, Batman Returns. Picture this: on Christmas Day in Gotham, parents ditch their odd-looking newborn Oswald Cobblepot into the sewers, where penguins adopt him. Years later, he grows up to be Danny DeVitos unhinged Penguin, plotting with shady businessman Max Schreck to oust Batman.

Its Michelle Pfeiffers whip-cracking Catwoman in that iconic pleather getup who nicks the spotlight though, turning the whole caped crusader caper into a festive frenzy of villainy. Runs till about 10:10pm, tickets start at six quid.
