Thursday 28 May 2026 at Green's Windmill and Science Centre, children can make their own little loaves and decide whether to eat them warm or squirrel them away for later. All ingredients are provided, there is a £4 charge per child, and the sessions are aimed at ages 3 and up. Think floury fingers, proud tiny bakers and possibly a dramatic declaration that their bread is the best in the world.

Booking is essential, with three timed slots on the day at 10.15am, 11.00am and 11.45am. To reserve a place call 0115 915 6878 and please mention any dietary requirements when you book. Please arrive ten minutes before your slot as sessions start promptly and late arrivals may be refused entry. Entry to the venue is free.
