So, mark your calendars for Monday, March 17, 2025, at 7:30 PM 'cause we've got a show that's about to take you on a ride through the wild world of motherhood and family drama at the Nottingham Playhouse. Tickets are going for a bargain price of £11.50 to £20. Who knew delving into your family's past could be so intriguing? Emily, an eight-month-pregnant hero, stumbles upon her grandma's journal and suddenly it's like opening Pandora's box but with more feelings and fewer mythical creatures. Expect to uncover tales of bravery, unshared sorrows, and all the warm fuzzies that come with love – you know, the kind that sticks to your heart like that one weird food item in your fridge.

Theatre Re, our very own visual theatre wizards, are back at it again after their hit show The Nature of Forgetting. They're renowned for mixing original live music with stunning visuals to deliver performances that tug at your heartstrings while keeping your eyes glued to the stage. It's non-verbal but ultra-communicative, which is quite the achievement, perhaps even a superpower in today's texting world. This event is backed by the National Lottery and several artsy folks like the Arts Council England, so you know there's been some serious talent sprinkled all over this production. Brace yourselves—deeply moving moments about life, love, and all that fragile stuff await.
